The Doctoral Program in Health Sciences is organizing the 1st Conference on Thesis Progress Presentations, under the slogan “My Thesis in 5 Minutes”. This activity consists of a brief presentation (maximum 5 minutes) of the doctoral theses currently being developed within the program. Students may present their research plan, its development, or the results obtained. Presentations (in PowerPoint or similar format) will be delivered to fellow students and professors, and must include the presence of at least one of the thesis supervisors and two members of the CAPD.

This is a mandatory activity during one of the first three years of the doctoral stage for all students who enrolled for the first time in the 2023–24 academic year. Therefore:

• These sessions are especially aimed at students who enrolled for the first time in 2023–24. If they do not participate in this edition, they must do so in the 2nd Conference during the 2025–26 academic year
• Optional activity for students who enrolled for the first time in 2024–25. If they do not participate in this edition, they must do so in the sessions organized in 2025–26 or 2026–27
• Optional activity for all other students

• Thursday, June 19 and Friday, June 20, 2025, from 09:00 to 15:00 (schedule to be defined based on the number of registrations)
• Presentations may be delivered in person (Room 2, University Building of Oza, 3rd Floor) or online via Teams

Once the pre-registration period ends, students will be selected in order of registration, giving priority to students in category a), then those in b), and finally those in c).
