General admission criteria for doctoral programs:
The Doctoral Studies Regulations of the UDC (REDUDC) establish the general admission requirements for a doctoral program at the UDC (https://estudos.udc.es/es/study/admission/5007v01).

Specific criteria for the doctoral program in Health Sciences:
Following the current regulations, once the requirements detailed in the previous section have been met, as an additional specific requirement, an entry profile primarily oriented to university degrees in the field of Health Sciences is required.
In the Doctoral Program in Health Sciences, it is an essential requirement, in order to proceed to the submission and evaluation of the doctoral thesis, to have published part of its results in a scientific journal indexed in the Journal of Citation Reports (JCR) during the period of enrollment in this doctoral program.
